The wallhanging above was another commission piece for the same customer. I remember her showing me a very tiny, 1", illustration and asking if I could make a wallhanging. I found it very hard to work on projects that I didn't have an emotional connection to, and remember it took a while to complete.

     The quilt above was stitched by Ardeth Laake. She is a great friend and gifted Baltimore quilter. When I grow up, I wanna be her! The setting for the quilt top was designed by me, but all the credit belongs to her. The photos cannot do this quilt justice- it is stunning!
